May 7Go inside the studio of renowned fashion photographer Victor Demarchelier to witness the creation of images for ACB’s 10th season and be the first to learn ACB’s 2020-21 repertory. Following the shoot, Victor will take your portrait with the dancers.
May 7Spend an evening in the home of Pulitzer Prize-winning composer Charles Wuorinen and be the first to hear him discuss his new ACB-commissioned score.
May 8Observe the advanced women’s class at the school founded by George Balanchine—New York City Ballet’s School of American Ballet—taught by Balanchine’s protégé Suki Schorer. These classes are not open to the public. The class will be followed by a private conversation with Ms. Schorer.
May 8Attend a performance of the New York City Ballet featuring three Balanchine classics: Rubies, Divertimento from La Baiser de la Fée, and the incomparable, haunting La Valse.
